Clinical Observation on the Effect of Qishen Tongmai Decoction Ⅱ on Diabetic Foot

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Qishen Tongmai decoction Ⅱ in diabetic foot.Methods 80 patients with diabetic foot treated in our hospital were analyzed, and 40 patients from the treatment group and the control group and the control group received 14 d for 4 courses of treatment. The changes of TCM syndrome integral, ankle-brachial index, VAS pain score, and infrared thermal image temperature before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and observed the total response rate, and the statistical analysis was conducted. Results After the treatment, the TCM syndrome score (5.28±3.27) was lower than that of the observed group (6.65±2.68). After treatment, the ankle-brachial index of (0.72±0.08) was higher than the control group (0.68±0.06), and the difference was significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the infrared thermal image of the foot temperature in the left and right parts of the lower limbs in the treatment group was higher than that of the observation group. After the comparison before and after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the VAS score (3.80±1.24) was lower than the observed group (4.06±1.01),and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The total clinical response rate of the treatment group was(82.5%), which was higher than that of the control group (65.0%), and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusion Qishen Tongmai decoction Ⅱ can effectively relieve qi and blood deficiency,intermittent claudication, lower limb pain, fatigue and other clinical symptoms.
