Study on Application of “Syndrome–Disease” Theory in Perioperative Period

Abstract:
Taking optimal efficacy as core ideology and treating syndrome and disease simultaneously as key content and method, “syndrome–disease” theory is a doctrine for integration of Chinese traditional and western medicine. With the objective of enhanced recovery after surgery, it is promising to combine surgical removal of lesions with intervention of traditional Chinese medicine by implementing the strategy of treating syndrome and disease simultaneously during perioperative period, by which the best outcome of surgical treatment might achieved.
