Abstract:
Objective To systematically evaluate the ef.cacy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in elderly hip fracture patients. Methods The CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, China biomedical literature database, PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library and Web of Science were searched from the establishment of the database to May 17, 2021, which collecting all randomized controlled trials (RCT) on the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis in elderly hip fracture patients with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine (experimental group) compared with western medicine (control group). Two researchers independently screened literatures, extracted data and evaluated the quality according to Cochrane bias risk assessment system. The RevMan 5.4 software was used for meta-analysis. Results A total of 20 articles including 1714 patients were included. Meta analysis results show that the incidence of DVT in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group was [RR=0.19, 95%CI (0.11, 0.32), P<0.001]. D-dimer level in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group [SMD=-1.59, 95%CI (-2.09, -1.09), P<0.001], PLT [MD=-9.45, 95%CI (-12.60, -6.31), P<0.001], PV [MD=-0.29, 95%CI (-0.35, -0.24), P<0.001), Thigh circumference difference [MD=-0.55,, 95%CI (-0.75, -0.34), P<0.001], Leg circumference difference [MD=-0.35, 95%CI (-0.47, -0.23), P<0.001]. PT [MD=-0.05, 95%CI (-1.59,
