The control group was given routine treatment, local debridement and external application of sterile gauze. The treatment group was given conventional treatment, local debridement and external application of Chuang-yang I gauze for 30 days. Results Compared with the results before treatment, the results of ulcer area, pain degree, exudation volume, color score, neutrophil count and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level proinflammatory factor level and anti-inflammatory factor level of the treatment group after treatment significantly improved, and the improvement degrees of the treatment group were better than those of the control group, which has statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion It is preliminarily proved that Chuang-yang I external application has good curative effect on foot ulcer of type 2 diabetes mellitus with damp heat toxin, which can improve the score of clinical symptoms and signs, reduce the neutrophil count and the level of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Its therapeutic effect may be related to the regulating effect of its active components on inflammatory factors.
