Application of Dynamic Brace Training in Early Rehabilitation of Patients with Hand Flexor Tendon Rupture and Its Effect on Functional Recovery

Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effect of dynamic brace training in early rehabilitation of patients with hand flexor tendon rupture and its influence on functional recovery. Methods 60 patients with hand flexor tendon rupture in our hospital from March 2017 to December 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group (n =30) and observation group (n =30). The control group received routine intervention while the observation group received movement support training on the basis of routine intervention. The total active movement (TAM) score, clinical efficacy, hand grip and pinch strength before and after intervention, the incidence of adverse events and the life quality were compared between the two groups after 12 months of intervention. Results The TAM score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The clinical total effective rate of the control group was 63.33% and the observation group was 86.67%, which the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The adverse events rate of the control group was 53.33%, which was higher than 23.33% of the observation group (P <0.05). Compared with those before intervention, the grip strength, three-point pinch strength and side pinch strength of the two groups were significantly increased after intervention, and the increase range of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). After 12 months of intervention, the SF-36 score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The dynamic brace training in the early rehabilitation of patients with hand flexor tendon rupture has achieved a more significant application effect, which plays a role in promoting the functional recovery, with fewer adverse events and has a high clinical reference value.
