Effect of Dachengqi Decoction Combined with Early Enteral Nutrition Support on the Rehabilitation of Patients after Pancreaticoduodenectomy

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of early enteral nutrition combined with Dachengqi Decoction on patients' rehabilitation after pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods Thirty-eight patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy were randomly divided into two groups, which 18 cases in the control group and 20 cases in the test group. All patients were given enteral nutrition early after surgery. The test group was given Dachengqi Decoction 200 mL/d. The recovery of gastrointestinal function and liver function of the two groups were observed and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the postoperative anal exhaust time was significantly shorter in the experimental group (P<0.05), and the indexes of prealbumin on the 4th day after the operation and the albumin and total bilirubin on the 7th day after the operation were recovered more obviously. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Early enteral nutrition after pancreaticoduodenectomy combined with the application of Dachengqi Decoction can promote the recovery of the patient’s gastrointestinal function, more effectively promote the recovery of the patient' s nutritional status and improve the patient’s prognosis.
