Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with cake-separated moxibustion in the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury. Methods 72 patients with urinary retention after spinal cord injury from August 2016 to May 2019 were selected for the study. All patients were divided into two groups. 36 patients in the observation group and 36 patients in the control group according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with cake-separated moxibustion on the basis of routine treatment such as bladder function training. The observation group was treated with electroacupuncture on the basis of control group. After 4 weeks of treatment, the maximum bladder capacity, residual urinary volume, positive rate of urinary routine and total efficiency were compared between the two groups. Results The maximum volume of bladder in both groups was higher than that before treatment (P < 0.05), and the difference before and after treatment of observation group was significantly greater than that in the control group (P < 0.05).The residual urine volume of bladder in both groups was lower than that before treatment, and the difference before and after treatment of observation group was significantly greater than that in the control group (P < 0.05).After 3 and 4 weeks of treatment, the positive rate of urinary routine in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 83.33%, which was significantly better than 63.89% of the control group (P < 0.05). No adverse reactions occurred during the treatment of all patients. Conclusion Electroacupuncture combined with cake-separated moxibustion in the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury is satisfactory. It has the advantages of safety, simple method, which is easy to implement. It is a recommended method of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and is suitable for clinical promotion and application.
