Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with hip replacement surgery on elderly patients with femoral neck fractures and its effect on serological parameters, bone density, functional recovery and complications. Methods All clinical data of 85 elderly patients with femoral neck fractures during the period from July 2018 to February 2020 in general surgery were retrospectively analyzed. According to different treatment options, they were divided into observation groups (applying hip replacement surgery routine treatment with Taohong Siwu Decoction, 43 cases) and routine group (applying hip replacement surgery routine treatment after surgery, 42 cases). Evaluate the correlation between the two groups of serum before and after surgery. Indicators: Insulin growth factor-1 (IGF-1), secreted protein osteosclerin (SOST) level, bone density (femoral neck, Wards triangle, trochanter), Harris function hip score, walking ability score, limb Motor function FMMS score and complications. Results There were no differences in the levels of serum-related indicators, bone mineral density, Harris score, walking ability score, FMMS score and complications in the two groups before surgery (P>0.05). At 12 weeks after surgery, the serum IGF-1 levels, bone mineral density, Harris score and FMMS scores in the observation group were higher than those in the conventional group; serum SOST levels and walking ability scores in the observation group were lower than conventional group. The number of complications such as lower extremity venous thrombosis and internal fixation loosening in the conventional group were higher than those in the observation group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with hip replacement surgery in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures can not only accelerate fracture healing and hip function recovery, but also reduce the number of complications such as lower extremity venous thrombosis and loosening internal ?xation. To improve clinical ef?cacy, it has certain clinical value.
