Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of “Qihua”characteristic pain nursing in patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods A total of 45 patients with total knee arthroplasty (TKA) who received routine nursing from January 2016 to March 2017 in Nantong First People’s Hospital were selected as control group, and 45 patients with TKA who received“Qihua” pain nursing from April 2017 to July 2018 were selected as observation group. The knee joint pain degree, functional score, postoperative recovery and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The knee joint pain was lower in the observation group than that in the control group at 1 day after operation. The HSS scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at 1 month and 3 months after operation (P<0.05). The time of bedtime and hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of VTE and knee stiffness in the observation group were lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion “Qihua” characteristic pain nursing for patients with TKA can effectively improve their knee function, promote postoperative recovery, and reduce the incidence of complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
