Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of Xijiao Dihuang Decoction (XDD) combined with wound cleaning treatment on diabetic foot. Methods Fifty-six patients with diabetic foot were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 28 cases in each group. The patients in control group were routinely treated with Western medicine. The patients in treatment group were treated with XDD combined with wound cleaning. The treatment was continued for 3 months. After 3 months, the clinical efficacy, diameter of dorsal artery, blood flow velocity, wound healing rate and VEGF expression in two groups were compared. Results The clinical efficacy was 96.47% in the treatment group and 84.50% in the control group (P<0.05). The inner diameter and blood flow velocity of the dorsal artery in the treatment group were (0.19±0.014) mm and (31.79±2.15) mL/s, respectively. The inner diameter and blood flow velocity of the dorsal artery of the control group were (0.11±0.015)mm and (29.07±1.61)mL/s (P<0.05), respectively. The number of wound healing in the treatment group was 15 cases, accounting for 53.57%. There were 8 cases of wound healing in control group, accounting for 28.57% (P<0.05). The expression level of VEGF in the treatment group was (128.34±39.35) ng/L after treatment. The VEGF level before treatment was (108.94±28.72)ng/L after treatment in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion XDD combined with wound cleaning treatment can effectively treat diabetic foot, and has certain clinical reference and promotion.
