Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of Ginseng Rhubarb Decoction on gastrointestinal function of patients after pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods Totally 62 patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group (n=31). The patients of experimental group were pumped into the traditional Chinese medicine through the jejunum nutrition tube after 6 h. Results In the experimental group, the first exhaust time, recovery time of bowel sound, the first defecation time, abdominal distension duration, and enteral nutrition start time were shorter than those in the control group, the incidence of vomiting and abdominal distension were lower than those in the control group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the 2 groups (P>0.1). Conclusion Pancreaticoduodenectomy with early enteral nutrition infusion of Ginseng Rhubarb Decoction can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, at the same time it does not increase the risk of complications, and the clinical treatment effect is very good.
