Effect of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Intervention in Patients with Pancreaticoduodenectomy in Operative Period

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine intervention on patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods Totally 40 cases of pancreaticoduodenectomy patients in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 40 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given routine intervention measures after entering the operating room, while the patients in observation group were given acupoint massage and listening to Wuxing music. Vital signs and anxiety were measured 15 min after the surgery. Results After acupoint massage and emotional nursing, anxiety scores of patients in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0 . 05). Systolic blood pressure in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05), and diastolic blood pressure showed no signi?cant difference (P >0.05). The heart rate decreased (P < 0 . 05 ); There was no significant difference in respiration (P >0.05). Conclusion The acupoint massage and five-element music therapy for patients with pancreaticoduodenectomy can effectively relieve the patients’tension, anxiety and other adverse emotions during the waiting period, stabilize their blood pressure and slow down their heart rate, effectively complete the operation with the patients and promote their rapid recovery.
