Effect of modified Tuoli Xiaodu powder on wound healing after perianal abscess surgery based on intestinal microecology

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of modified Tuoli Xiaodu powder on the wound healing of postoperative perianal abscesses. Methods A total of 106 patients with perianal abscess admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment and intervention, while the observation group received additional modified Tuoli Xiaodu powder. The clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome scores, wound healing rate, wound healing status scores, intestinal flora indicators, and treatment safety were evaluated in both groups. Results The total effective rate, wound healing rate at 3 d, 7 d and 14 d after surgery in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group, and the wound healing time was shorter than that in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of various TCM syndromes, VAS, wound exudate and edema in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the score of granulation tissue was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The lactobacillus and koala bacillus in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the short bacillus and Holderman's bacillus were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion The modified Tuoli Xiaodu powder can promote the healing of the postoperative wound in perianal abscesses, improve the patient's traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and intestinal microecology.
