Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical study of external washing with Fengbie Kuhuang decoction combined with local injection of methylene blue injection on perianal eczema. Methods A total of 92 patients with perianal eczema who visited the Anorectal Department of Qinhuangdao Hospital of Dongfang Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (Qinhuangdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine) from January 2023 to January 2024. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the traditional Chinese medicine combined group, with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with local injection of methylene blue injection, while the traditional Chinese medicine combined group was treated with external washing with Fengbie Kuhuang decoction on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects were compared after 14 days. The TCM syndrome scores, lesion areas, exudate scores, and the contents of serum immunoglobulin E (IgE), interleukin-4 (IL-4), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), and quality of life scores (DLQI) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Compare the occurrence and recurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined traditional Chinese medicine group was 95.65%, significantly higher than that in the control group (80.43%, P <0.05). After the treatment, the TCM syndrome score, lesion area and exudate score in the combined TCM group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). After the treatment, the contents of serum IgE, IL-4 and IFN-γ in the traditional Chinese medicine combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). After the treatment, the DLQI score of the combined traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). No obvious adverse reactions occurred in either group during the treatment period. The recurrence rates of both groups were relatively low, with no significant difference (P >0.05). Conclusion External washing with Fengbie Kuhuang decoction combined with local injection of methylene blue injection has a good therapeutic effect on perianal eczema. It helps to reduce the area of skin lesions, alleviate the severity of eczema, and relieve symptoms. The mechanism of its therapeutic effect is related to its good anti-inflammatory effect.
