The application effect of progressive rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation under Teach Back health education in patients with hand tendon injuries

Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effect of progressive rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation under Teach Back health education in patients with hand tendon injuries. Methods 80 patients with hand tendon injuries who underwent suture surgery in our hospital from January to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group (40 cases in each group). The control group received rehabilitation training in the conventional nursing mode, while the observation group received intervention in the progressive rehabilitation training mode under Teach Back health education combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation. Compare the recovery effect of hand tendons, incidence of complications, quality of life scores before and after nursing, anxiety and depression scores before and after nursing between two groups of patients. Results The excellent rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of complications such as edema, joint stiffness, tendon rupture, and tendon adhesion in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the quality of life scores of both groups of patients significantly increased, and the observers were higher than the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the anxiety and depression scores of both groups of patients were significantly reduced, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of progressive rehabilitation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation under Teach Back health education has significant effects on patients with hand tendon injuries. It can effectively promote the recovery of hand tendon function, reduce negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, actively cooperate with rehabilitation training in a good state, effectively prevent the occurrence of complications, and improve the quality of life of patients.
