Observation study on nausea and vomiting reaction after laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia assisted by press needle

Abstract:
Objective To analyze the effect of acupoint acupuncture assisted with general anesthesia in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery in our hospital were randomly divided into a control group (n = 40) and an experimental group (n = 40). The patients in the control group were treated with general anesthesia, while the patients in the experimental group were treated with general anesthesia assisted by percutaneous acupoint pressing needle. The nausea and vomiting after the operation and the satisfaction of the two groups were analyzed. Results The nausea and vomiting score in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 3h and 6h after operation( P<0.05); The satisfaction of the experimental group (95.00%) was higher than that of the control group (17.50%)(P<0.05). Conclusion Percutaneous acupoint press needle assisted general anesthesia can significantly reduce the incidence of nausea and vomiting and improve clinical satisfaction in patients undergoing laparoscopy.
