Clinical study of Chaishao Rupi decoction combined with“Zhatiao”acupuncture at Jianjing point in the treatment of liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type breast hyperplasia

Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Chaishao Rupi decoction combined with“Zhatiao”acupuncture at Jianjing point in treating liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type breast hyperplasia. Methods From January 2020 to January 2023, 80 patients with breast addiction due to liver stagnation andphlegm coagulation in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group (n=40) and study group (n=40).The grouping method was random number table.The observation group was treated with Chaishao Rupi decoction,and on this basis, the research group was treated with “Zhatiao”acupuncture at Jianjing point. The two groups were treated for clinical effect after of treatment. Before and after treatment, the changes of TCM syndrome score,sex hormone level and liver and kidney function indexes were compared. The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was counted. Results Regarding the total effective rate, compared with the observation group (75.00%), the observation group (92.50%) was significantly higher(P<0.05). After treatment, compared with the observation group, the Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome points in the observation group were significantly lower (P<0.05). After treatment, compared with the control group, the level of progesterone in the observation group was significantly lower and the level of estradiol in the observation group was significantly higher (P<0.05). After treatment, there was no significant difference in renal function index and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Chaishao Rupi decoction combined with“Zhatiao”acupuncture at Jianjing point is effective in treating breast hyperplasia. It can relieve breast lumps and pain, improve breast ultrasound parameters, regulate serum sex hormone level, and has no effect on liver function.It is safe and reliable.
