Abstract:
Objective To observe the nursing effect of Huolong cupping comprehensive moxibustion on patients with kidney yang deficiency and low back pain. Methods Select 60 patients with kidney yang deficiency and low back pain admitted to Nankai Hospital and Nankai Geriatric Hospital in Tianjin from January to March 2023, were divided into two groups, control group and observation group each had 30 cases. The control group received routine cupping treatment, while the observation group received comprehensive moxibustion treatment with Huolong cupping. Compare the JOA low back pain score and visual analogue scale (VAS) score of two groups of patients after the same treatment cycle. Results During the same treatment cycle, all indicators of the two groups of patients improved. Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in JOA scores between the observation group and the control group (P>0.05). After treatment, the JOA score showed that the effective rate of 86.67% (26/30) in the observation group was higher than that of 56.67% (17/30) in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The visual analogue scale (VAS) score between the two groups decreased after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Both groups of treatments are effective in improving the symptoms of patients with kidney yang deficiency and low back pain. However, compared with conventional cupping therapy, Huolong cupping comprehensive moxibustion therapy has significant advantages in improving the dysfunction of low back pain in patients. It can effectively control the pain symptoms of patients with kidney yang deficiency and low back pain, with significant clinical efficacy, high patient satisfaction and good safety, further improving the quality of life of patients.
