Clinical observation of Jiedu Chengqi decoction in the treatment of early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the efficacy of Jiedu Chengqi decoction combined with somatostatin and intestinal obstruction catheter in the treatment of inflammatory intestinal obstruction and the effect on immune inflammation and gastrointestinal function recovery. Methods 80 patients with inflammatory ileus admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method. The control group (40 cases) was treated with somatostatin and intestinal obstruction catheter, and the observation group was treated with Jiedu Chengqi decoction combined with somatostatin and intestinal obstruction catheter. The effects, gastrointestinal function recovery, immune inflammation, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 90.00%, which was higher than that of control group 62.50% (P < 0.05). The recovery time of bowel sound, the time of disappearance of abdominal symptoms, the time of first anal exhaust, the time of first anal defecation in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the daily gastrointestinal decompression drainage volume and abdominal circumference reduction length were greater than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the proportion of Th1 in peripheral blood, serum IFN-γ level and GIQLI score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the proportion of Th2 in peripheral blood and serum IL-4 level in the control group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Jiedu Chengqi decoction combined with somatostatin and intestinal obstruction catheter in the treatment of inflammatory intestinal obstruction can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, improve immunity, inhibit inflammatory response, and improve clinical efficacy and quality of life of patients.
