Effect of warming Yang and activating blood circulation on early plasma cell mastitis and its influence on immune function

Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of warming Yang and activating blood circulation on early plasma cell mastitis and its influence on immune function. Methods 80 patients with plasma cell mastitis treated in hospital were selected and enrolled from April 2021 to December 2022. All patients were grouped according to random number table method. The control group (n = 40) was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group (n = 40) was treated with warming Yang and activating blood circulation at the same time. The clinical efficacy of the control group and the observation group was compared. Before and after treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the patients were evaluated, the temperature of the red and swollen breast of the patients was scored, and the breast pain of the patients was evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS).Before and after treatment, the levels of high mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1), C-reactive protein (CRP), neutrophil count (NEUT), white blood cell count (WBC), prolactin (PRL), complement C4 and immunoglobulin IgM were detected, and the recurrence rate of the two groups within 6 months was recorded. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 75.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the recurrence rate of the observation group was 2.50% lower than 20.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores, breast pain scores and skin temperature scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of HMGB1, CRP, NEUT and WBC in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of complement C4, immunoglobulin IgM and PRL in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Warming Yang and activating blood circulation in the treatment of patients with early plasma cell mastitis can reduce the levels of HMGB1, CRP, NEUT and WBC, inhibit the body's inflammation, regulate the body's immune function, reduce the PRL level, relieve the breast pain of patients, relieve the patient's condition, improve the clinical efficacy, and reduce the recurrence rate.
