Observation on the effect of Ultrasonic debridement combined with Qufu Shengxin ointment in the treatment of lower limb venous ulcers

Abstract:
Objective To observe the effect of Ultrasonic debridement combined with Qufu Shengxin ointment in the treatment of lower limb venous ulcers. Methods 66 patients with chronic lower limb venous ulcers were selected and divided into 2 groups,experimental group and control group, according to the random method, 33 cases in each group.After admission, both groups were treated with conventional basic treatment combined with ultrasonic debridement for wound cleaning. Experimental group was treated with Qufu Shengxin ointment, control group with recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor. Clinical indexes(Occurrence time of fresh granulation, healing days, wound bacterial clearance rate, pain, swelling, skin adverse reaction rate, ulcer area, ulcer depth), inflammation and cytokines[C-reactive protein (CRP), hypoxia-inducing factor (HIF-1α), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)], lankle brachial index (ABI), transcutaneous pressure of owimetry (tcpO2) and vibration perception threshold (VPT) were observed and analyzed in two groups. Results After the treatment,all of these indicators have improved (P < 0.05). The occurrence time of fresh granulation and healing time in experimental group were significantly better than those in control group (P < 0.01). After 7 days treatment, pain score and swelling range were improved compared with control group (P < 0.05). After 14 days treatment, there were no significant differences in pain score, swelling range, ABI, wound bacterial clearance rate and skin adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). The improvement of CRP, VEGF, HIF-α, tcpO2 and VPT in experimental group was better than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Ultrasonic debridement combined with Qufu Shengxin ointment in the treatment of lower limb venous ulcers has better clinical effect, can significantly relieve ulcer symptoms, shorten ulcer healing time, improve wound microenvironment and lower limb circulation, and do not increase skin adverse reactions.
