Clinical effect of Sanjin Paishi decoction combined with holmium laser lithotripsy on upper ureteral

Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Sanjin Paishi decoction combined with holmium laser lithotripsy on upper ureteral calculi. Methods A total of 120 patients with upper ureteral calculi who were treated in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2021 were collected and randomly divided into two groups, with 60 patients in both the treatment group and the control group.The control group was only given ureteroscope holmium laser lithotripsy, and the treatment group was given Sanjin Paishi decoction. Results The total effective rate and stone clearing rate of the treatment group were 98.3% and 95.0% respectively, which were higher than those of the control group (91.7% and 85.0%, P<0.05). The recurrence rate of stone in the control group was 16.7%, which was higher than that in the treatment group (3.3%), with statistical significance(P<0.05). After treatment, TCM symptom score, QOL score and VAS score of the two groups decreased significantly compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Sanjin Paishi decoction combined with holmium laser lithotripsy in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi is safe and effective, which can improve the postoperative stone removal rate, reduce the recurrence rate of calculi, reduce the pain of patients and improve their quality of life.
