Discussion on Application of Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies of Diseases Identification and Syndrome Differentiation in Colorectal Cancer

Abstract:
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world and it has a high mortality rate. Professor Chen Zhiqiang proposed the diagnosis and treatment strategies of disease identification and syndrome differentiation for the first time. He believed that the treatment of Chinese medicine was mainly to treat symptoms, and the treatment effect was judged by the improvement of the symptoms, while Western medicine was mainly to treat diseases and the treatment effect was judged by the improvement of the diseases.The implementation of the diagnosis and treatment strategy of disease identification and syndrome differentiation,prioritizing curative effects and focusing on patients, may truly complement the advantages of Chinese and Western medicine. Therefore, this article combined with clinical practice to apply Professor Chen' s disease identification and syndrome differentiation in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer to explore its clinical value.
