Historical Relics and Clinical Application of “Roasting Pus to Promote Regeneration” of Traditional Chinese Medicine Sore Surgery

Abstract:
As one of the characteristic therapy concept of TCM sore surgery,”roasting pus to promote regeneration” has been used on various chronic refractory wound and has received significant clinical effect.However,there are disagrees between the different doctors of TCM in the connotation of“ roasting pus to promote regeneration” because of the scattered records and different characters in historical relics. In order to offer theoretical guidance for the clinical application of“ roasting pus to promote regeneration”, this paper summarizes the historical origin, concept, application time and commonly used prescriptions of the theory through the literature methodology and clinical work.
