Abstract:
Objective From the perspective of mechanics, the combination of test and simulation is used to effectively predict and evaluate the anorectal ring and quantitatively evaluate it. Methods The anorectal ring sample is got for the static tensile test and the stress-strain curve of anorectal ring muscle is acquired. Complex of pelvic floor and anal sphincter is got by CT scanning. Then the complex is converted to 3D geometry model which can be used by the simulation software through reverse engineering method. At last, the stresses of anorectal ring muscles under different conditions are got based on finite element simulation by using ABAQUS. Results The cylinders of different diameters were used to act on the anal rectal ring, which can effectively imitate the human resting state, endurance state, force discharge state and various active states of increasing abdominal pressure, such as sneezing, cough and weight-bearing activities. Conclusion The establishment of the finite element model of anal rectal ring provides an effective and real platform for the study of anal defecation dysfunction due to different surgical methods of anal fistula.
