Analysis of Clinical Efficacy of Compound Huangbai Liquid Combined with Intracavitary Laser Closure in Treatment of Venous Ulcers of Lower Extremities

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of compound Huangbai liquid combined with intracavitary laser closure in the treatment of venous ulcers of the lower extremities. Methods A retrospective analysis of 58 patients with venous ulcers of the lower extremities in our department from September 2020 to July 2021. Laser closure surgery+pressure therapy were classified as group A, and those treated with compound Huangbai liquid+pressure treatmentalone were classified as group B. Compound Huangbai liquid+Intracavitary laser closure surgery+pressure therapy were classified as group C. The basic data of the three groups of patients were counted, and the clinical efficacy in the three groups of patients within 1 month after the operation, the reduction rate of ulcer area at the scheduled observation time, the VAS pain score and the length of hospital stay were analyzed to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results There was no statistically significant difference in gender and other general data of the three groups of patients (P>0.05). The clinical efficacy of ulcers in the three groups within 1 month was statistically different (P<0.05). On the weekends of 1, 2, 3 and 4, the reduction rate of ulcer area in group C was significantly higher than that in groups A and B. There was a statistical difference in the reduction rate of ulcer area among the three groups (P<0.05). The length of hospital stay in group C was significantly shorter than that in group A and group B, with statistical difference (P<0.05). The baseline VAS pain score of the three groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The VAS pain score of the three groups of patients at the 4th weekend was statistically different (P<0.001). Conclusion Compound Huangbai Liquid combined with intracavitary laser closure in the treatment of venous ulcers of the lower extremities can not only remove the cause, but also dispel pathogens
