Effect of Dahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction Enema on Gastrointestinal Dysfunction after Laparoscopic Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese medicine enema of Dahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction on gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods A total of 102 patients with postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction who underwent laparoscopic hepatocellular carcinoma resection in the department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of Guangdong Province Traditional Medical hospital from July 2018 to July 2020 were selected and divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table method, with 51 patients in each group. Patients in both groups were given rapid rehabilitation surgical nursing program. The control group was given kaiselu enema and the treatment group was given Dahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction enema. The course of treatment was 3 d, the gastrointestinal function recovery, abdominal distension score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The recovery time of bowel sound, first anal exhaust and first defecation in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in abdominal distension score between the two groups (P>0.05), but after treatment, the abdominal distension score of the treatment group at 24 h and 48 h was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in two groups during treatment. Conclusion Dahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction enema is effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic liver cancer surgery, which can quickly promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function of patients after laparoscopic hepatocellular carcinoma surgery, without adverse reactions, which is safe and effective.
