Abstract:
Objective To establish Drosophila calcium oxalate (CaOx) nephrolithiasis model via an improved method. Methods Standard medium and modeling medium were prepared. The blank control group of Drosophila was only given standard medium, while the traditional model group and the improved model group were fed with modeling medium containing 0.5% ethylene glycol (EG) from adult stage and larval stage respectively. The stone formation in Drosophila martensis tube under polarizing microscope was observed and evaluated, the time spent when the stone formation rate of the model reaches 100% was recorded, and the proportion of“++”and“+++” between the model groups when the stone formation rate reached 100% were compared. The Fourier transform Raman spectroscopy was used to identify the components of stones in Drosophila martensis tube in the model group. The survival curve of Drosophila in each group was drawn, and the
