Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of Jiangu Gushen Decoction on blood rheology, bone metabolism and inflammatory indexes in patients with thoracolumbar osteoporotic fracturesin order to provide reference for clinical treatment of thoracolumbar osteoporotic fractures. Methods A total of 110 patients with thoracolumbar osteoporotic fractures admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to May 2020 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to a random number table, with 55 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with pedicle screw internal fixation. On this basis, control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and observation group was given Jiangu Gushen Decoction on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, bone mineral density (BMD) and bone metabolism levels, serum levels of inflammatory mediators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was apparently higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the two groups of whole blood low-cutting viscosity, whole blood mid-cutting viscosity, whole blood high-cutting viscosity were apparently lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the observation group were apparently lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the BMD and osteocalcin (OC) levels of the two groups were apparently higher than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the observation group were apparently higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), β-collagen cross-linked C-terminal peptide (β-CTX), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), C reaction protein (CRP) and interleukin (IL-6) in the two groups were apparently lower than mthose before treatment (P<0.05), and the observation group were apparently lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Jiangu Gushen Decoction is effective in patients with thoracolumbar osteoporotic fractures undergoing pedicle screw internal fixation, which can improve blood rheology indexes, relieve postoperative inflammation, regulate bone metabolism of the bodyand promote fracture repair, which has a certain degree of safety.
