Clinical Observation on the Effect of External Application of Chuangyu Ointment on Postoperative Wounds of Simple Perianal Abscess

Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effect of external application of Chuangyu Ointment on wound healing after simple perianal abscess surgery. Methods Seventy postoperative patients with perianal abscess who were admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to October 2020 were enrolled, and they were randomly divided into two groups. Observation group: Chuangyu cream (10g pearls, 10g dragon' s blood, 20g radix rehmanniae, 15g amber, 15g frankincense, 15g myrrh, a pair of hippocampus, 10g catechu, 8g borneol, 8g borneol, sesame oil Formulation, mixed to make) topical dressing change, 1 time/d. Control group: Vaseline gauze, the others are the same as the observation group. After 20 days of treatment, the amount of bacteria, wound healing, adverse reactions, healing time and hospitalization expenses in the two groups were compared. Results After 5 days of treatment, the bactericidal effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.01). The wound secretion volume, wound margin swelling, granulation freshness, wound area, healing time and hospitalization costs in the observation group were all better than those of the control group (P<0.05). There were no adverse reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion The external application of Chuangyu Ointment can effectively promote the healing of postoperative wounds of simple perianal abscess and reduce hospitalization costs. It is worthy of promotion.
