Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of Biling Weitong granule combined with standard quadruple therapy in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with mild to moderate intestinal metaplasia and its influence on gastric function and inflammatory factors. Methods From January 2018 to February 2020, a total of 60 chronic atrophic gastritis patients with mild to moderate intestinal metaplasia in our hospital were selected as the research objects, which were randomly divided into control group (30 cases) and observation group (30 cases). The control group was treated with standard quadruple therapy, and the observation group was treated with Biling Weitong granule on the basis of the control group. 4 weeks were regarded as a course of treatment and the groups had been treated for 3 courses. The improvement of clinical symptoms and changes of gastroscopy were observed before and after treatment. Fasting venous blood was drawn for serum interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-23 (IL-23) and tumor necrosis factor-A (TNF-α) examination. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine gastric function related indicators [ pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ ), pepsinogen Ⅱ (PG Ⅱ ) ]. At the end of three courses of treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated, and the occurrence of adverse reactions was recorded. Results The TCM symptom score, the gastric mucosal histopathology score of the control group and the observation group at the end of three courses of treatment were signi.cantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The TCM symptom score and gastric mucosal histopathology score of the observation group at the end of three courses of treatment were signi.cantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The levels of IL-6, IL-23 and TNF–α of the control group and the observation group at the end of three courses of treatment were signi.cantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The levels of IL-6, IL-23 and TNF–α of the observation group at the end of three courses of treatment were signi.cantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The PG Ⅰ , PG Ⅱ and G-17 of the control group and the observation group at the end of the three courses of treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). The PG Ⅰ , PG Ⅱ and G-17 of the observation group at the end of the three courses of treatment were signi.cantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%, which were signi.cantly higher than 86.67%, and the difference was statistically signi.cant (P<0.05). There was no adverse reaction in the two groups. Conclusion Biling Weitong granule combined with colloidal bismuth pectin capsule can inhibit the level of in.ammatory factors obviously and improve gastric functionin the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with mild to moderate intestinal metaplasia, so as to improve the clinical symptoms and gastroscopic manifestations of patients as well as improve the clinical ef.cacy. It has good safety.
