The Adjuvant Therapeutic Effect of Forsythia Yangrong Decoction Combined with Vacuum Sealing Drainage on Four-stage Pressure Ulcer and Its Influence on Inflammatory Factors

Abstract:
Objective To discuss the adjuvant therapeutic effect of Forsythia Yangrong decoction combined with vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) on four-stage pressure ulcer and its influence on inflammatory factors. Methods 120 patients with four-stage pressure ulcer from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected, they were divided into group A and group B according to the random number table, which 60 patients in each group. The group A was treated with VSD, the group B was treated with Forsythia Yangrong decoction on the basis. The inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha)], pain [visual analogue score (VAS)] and wound healing were compared between the two groups. Results The CRP, IL-6 and TNF-alpha in group A and group B after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment. The CRP, IL-6 and TNF-alpha in group B after treatment were significantly lower than those in group A, which the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS scores in group A and B after treatment 7 and 14 days were significantly lower than those before treatment. The VAS scores in group B after treatment 7 and 14 days were significantly lower than those in group A, which the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The effective rate in group B was significantly higher than that in group A. The number of dressing changes, wound healing time and treatment cost in group B were significantly lower than those in group A, which the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Forsythia Yangrong decoction combined with VSD can effectively reduce the inflammatory factors and pain in patients with stage IV pressure ulcer, which is helpful to improve the therapeutic effect of patients. It' s worth for further clinical promotion.
