Effect of Wenpi Huayu Decoction Combined with Gissi on Pancreatic Cancer Patients and Its Influence on KCS Score and CEA

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of Wenpi Huayu decoction (WPT) and Gissi Tabin (Tabin) in the treatment of patients with pancreatic cancer. Methods 50 patients with pancreatic cancer admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in the control group (25 cases) were treated with Gissi alone, the patients in the Observation Group (25 cases) were treated with Gissi and Wenpi Huayu decoction. The TCM symptom score, Karnofsky score, CEA, CA199, quality of life, total effect, adverse reaction and survival were observed. Results After treatment, the score of TCM symptom, Kardashian score and CEA in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the level of CA199 index in the observation group was not significantly different from that in the control group (P>0.05). All scores and total scores of QLQC-30 were significantly improved in the two groups, and the improvement effect of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the two groups was 68% and 92% respectively, which the observation group was significantly higher.The total incidence of adverse reactions were36% and 12%, which the observation group was significantly lower (P <0.05). Conclusion The combination of Wenpi Huayu decoction and Gissi Tabin can significantly improve the effect of Karnofsky score, reduce the CEA in patients with pancreatic cancer, enhance thequality of life after treatment, achieve better therapeutic effectiveness and reduce adverse drug reactions.
