Study of Compound Lamiophlomis Rotata Capsule Assisted Transurethral Surgery in the Treatment of Senile and High Risk BPH Complicated with Bladder Stones

Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of lamiophlomis rotata capsule assisted transurethral minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia with bladder stones for the elderly and high-risk patients. Methods 180 patients with BPH and bladder stone were randomly divided into two groups: control group and study group. The two groups were treated with TURP and HLL. The study group took lamiophlomis rotata capsule before and after operation, 0.9g/day, three times a day, on the basis of hand operation. The results were as follows: operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, bladder washing time, retention time, postoperative hospitalization time, number of complications, maximum urine flow rate before and after operation, residual urine volume, preoperative International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life score (QOL) and obstruction score. Results Compared with the control group, the bleeding volume [(67.2±6.6ml) vs (75.4±8.2ml)], bleeding volume (4 vs 12), bleeding volume [(28.5±4.9)ml vs (35.4±5.7)ml], IPSS score [(6.84±1.3) vs (8.4±1.9)] and QOL score [(2.3±0.5) vs (3.5±0.7)] in the study group were signi?cantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the course of TURP combined with HLL lithotripsy in the treatment of BPH with bladder stones for the elderly and high-risk patients, lamiophlomis rotata capsule could signi?cantly improve the surgical treatment.
