Study on Effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatments Combined with Interventional Operation in Treatment of Post-thrombotic Syndrome of Lower Extremity

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinesemedicine treatments combined withinterventional operationin treatment ofpost-thrombotic syndrome of lower extremity. Methods Retrospective analysis of 60 cases patients with post-thrombotic syndromeof lower extremity in ourhospital from January 2016 to January 2019 who were treated withinterventional operationsuccessfully.60 patients were divided into control group (30 cases) and treatment group (30 cases). After operation,patients in treatment group additionally were treated with traditional Chinesemedicine treatments,while patients in control group were not given traditional Chinese medicine treatments. Results The healing rate was 86.7% in treatment group, which was higher than 60% in the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate was 96.7% in treatment group, which was higher than 90% in the control group (P >0.05). Rate of vascular patency rate was 93.3% in the treatment group, which was higher than 90% in the control group(P >0.05) at 3 month,and 80% in the treatment group,which was higher than55.2% in the control group(P <0.05) at 12 month. Scores of Villalta in the treatment group were lowerthan those in the control group at 3months (P >0.05)and lower at12months(P <0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine treatments combined with interventional operationis was effective and safe for the treatment ofpost-thrombotic syndrome of lower limb.
