The Study of Professor Wang Shu-sheng' s Experience in the Treatment of Upper Urinary Calculi Based on Data Mining

Abstract:
Objective The TCMIPS v2.5 software was used to construct Professor Wang Shu-sheng’s clinical database for the treatment of upper urinary calculi and excavate his core experience prescription composition as well as dialectical medication law. Methods The 304 prescriptions from Professor Wang in treating upper urinary calculi were collected and recorded into TCM inheritance system. Medication laws and combination regularities were explored and analyzed with the application of data mining methods such as drug frequency analysis, association rule analysis and entropy clustering analysis. Results Total 304 prescriptions were collected in the treatment of upper urinary calculus and 97 herbs were used. The analysis showed that 14 herbs appeared for more than 15 times. Most of the herbs were sweet and bitter in flavor and cold, warm and smooth in nature,mainly related to liver,kidney and spleen meridians.25 key herbal combinations and 9 new
