Clinical Observation after the Treatment of Colorectal Adenoma by Jian Pi Qu Shi Recipe under Endoscope

Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical symptom score and recurrence rate after the treatment of colorectal adenoma by Jianpi Qushi Recipe under endoscope. Methods 120 patients with colorectal polyps treated by endoscopy and confirmed as adenoma by postoperative pathology were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment group was treated with Jianpi Qushi Recipe (Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus membranaceus,Poria cocos, Polyporus umbellatus, Dark plum, Fried rhizoma atractylodis, Fried Radix Scutellariae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Coix seed, Peilan, Burned hawthorn fruit, Burned Shenqu, Tangerine peel, Liquorice) as main clinical addition and subtraction therapy. The control group was not treated with any treatment. The clinical symptom score and recurrence of the two groups were observed. Results Compare with preoperative score, the difference in clinical symptom score of the treatment group was statistically significant(P < 0.05); compare with preoperative score, the difference in clinical symptom score except for mucus and bloody stool of the control group was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The recurrence rate of the treatment group (15%) was compared with the control group (36.7%), which the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion Jianpi Qushi Recipe has obvious curative effect on improving clinical symptoms and preventing postoperative recurrence after the treatment of colorectal adenoma under endoscopic.
