Effect of Yiqi Sanjie Decoction on Immune Function and Mental State of Patients with Thyroid Cancer after Operation

Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of Yiqi Sanjie Decoction (YSD) on the improvement of immune function and mental state of patients with thyroid cancer after operation. Methods Totally 66 cases of thyroid cancer patients, were randomly divided into the control group and treatment group, with 33 cases in each group. The control group were treated with levothyroxine sodium. On the basis, the treatment group added oral administration of YSD. The levels of serum thyroxine, T lymphocyte subsets and depression score were compared. Results At the end of treatment, the treatment group' s FT3, FT4 and TSH levels were signi?cantly improved compared with the control group (P<0.05), and the treatment group' s CD3+ and CD4+ levels were signi?cantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), the treatment group' s HAMD and SDS levels were obviously lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion YSD can significantly improve the endocrine and immune function of patients with thyroid cancer after surgery, and help patients to improve the patients’ depression. The effect is exact.
