Abstract:
Objective To explore the curative effect of external treatment in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on diabetic foot by meta-analysis method. Methods Computer retrieval of PUBMED, Cochrane Library, Embase, Medline, Chinese CNKI, Wip database, Wanfang database, etc was performed, the clinical randomized controlled trial (RCT) of TCM external treatment for diabetic foot was searched, the retrieval time was from the time of building the database March 31, 2019. The literature quality was evaluated and screened, the data were extracted, and Revman5.3 software was used for Meta analysis. Results In this study, a total of 1346 cases were included in 15 literatures, and the results showed that the effective rate of treatment was signi.cantly higher in the observation group (TCM external treatment group) than in the control group (basic therapy group), combined with OR (M-H, FIXED, 95%CI) 4.05 (2.89, 5.67), and the funnel diagram was basically symmetrical, the publication is less biased. Conclusion In terms of efficiency, the external treatment method of TCM is superior to the basic therapy method, but the lack of large sample, multi-center and rigorous design of clinical research provides clinicians with weak evidence-based evidence.
