Effect Analysis of Huoxue Tincture Combined with Manipulative Reduction Splints in Treatment of Aged Distal Radial Fractures

Abstract:
Objective To analyze the effect of Huoxue Tincture combined with manipulative reduction splints in the treatment of aged distal radial fractures. Methods From January 2006 to December 2016, 92 patients with aged distal radial fractures were reviewed, and they were randomly divided into study group and control group, 46 cases in each group. The control group used TCM manualreduction, and the patients in observation group were treated with Huoxue Tincture based on the control group. followed up for 6–12 months, The clinical ef.cacies of the two groups were compared and scored. Results The fracture healing time of the observation group was signi.cantly shorter than that of the control group, with statistically signi.cant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). The optimal rates of functional recovery of wrist in the control group and study group were respectively 91.3% and 78.3%. The curative effect was better in observation group than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Huoxue Tincture combined with manipulative reduction splints for treatment of aged distal radial fractures had possessd advantages of short healing time and good functional recovery, which is worthy of clinical application.
