Abstract:
Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture combined with biofeedback on urodynamics in patients with stress urinary incontinence,(SUI) and to explore its potential clinical mechanism in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence. Methods Totally 65 patients with SUI were randomly divided into two groups, 32 patients in the control group were treated with biofeedback therapy, and 33 patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion on this basis. The changes of urodynamic parameters before and after treatment were observed in the two groups. Results Compared with before treatment, the changes of urinary flow rate parameters (Qmax, TQmax, RUV), bladder pressure volume parameters (CPLL), urethral pressure parameters (Pdet-Qmax, MUCP) in the control group after treatment were signi.cantly better than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically signi.cant (all P<0.05). The treatment group not only had the above indexes, but also ND, SD and BC were signi.cantly better than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The improvement of the above indexes in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (all P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the improvement of Qmax, TQmax, RUV, ND, SD, CLPP, Pdet-Qmax, MUCP and BC in the treatment group was signi.cantly better than that in the control group, with statistical signi.cance (all P<0.05). Conclusion The mechanism of acupuncture combined with biofeedback to improve the clinical efficacy of SUI is closely related to coordinating the function of detrusor and urethral 通 sphincter and improving urethral closure pressure.
