Observation on the Effect of Compound Pain Capsule in Treating Rib Fracture Combined with Hemothorax

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Compound Pain Capsule in the treatment of rib fracture combined with hemothorax. Methods Sixty-eight patients with rib fractures and hemothorax who were hospitalized in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The patients in control group received routine treatment, and the patients in observation group were treated with Compound Pain Capsule. Results Comparison of coagulation function after treatment: the TT and APTT of observation group were higher than those in the control group at 5, 10, and 15 days after treatment (P < 0.05). The DD in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 5 and 10 days after treatment (P < 0.05). VAS pain score: The observation group was significantly lower than the control group at 5 and 10 days after treatment (P<0.05). The determination of amount of hemorrhage: the blood loss of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 5, 10, and 15 days after treatment (P<0.05). CT value comparison of post-treatment skeletal density: 15 days and 45 days after treatment, the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion For the treatment of rib fracture combined with hemothorax, combined application of Compound Pain Capsule on the basis of conventional treatment can significantly improve the early coagulation function of the patients, promote the rapid absorption of hemorrhage and rapid healing of the fracture, improve the body condition, and obtain significant clinical efficacy.
