Literature Analysis of Adverse Reaction of Vancomycin

Abstract:
Objective To explore the characteristics of the adverse reactions of vancomycin to provide reference for the safe and reasonable clinical use. Methods To retrieve full text database of vancomycin adverse reactions in CNKI, Wanfang Network, VIP Chinese Science Technology Periodicals from January 2008 to December 2017. The literature was divided into case and typical cases report, concurrent control clinical study or observation reports, to calculate the incidence rate of adverse reactions, occurrence time and various types ratio. Results The typical reports of 112 cases of adverse reactions were observed, and the main type was Reds syndrome, renal dysfunction, etc, mainly to the rapid onset. Conclusion The adverse reactions of vancomycin are more common, and its adverse reactions should be paid attention to and monitored for ensuring its safety in use.
