Observation and Research of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Nursing in Treating Elderly Coronary Heart Disease

Abstract:
Objective To analyze the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursing on elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Totally 150 elderly patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group received routine nursing. The patients in observation group were given integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The efficacies and nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 90 . 67 % which was higher than that of the control group ( 80. 00%, P < 0. 05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was 97.33% which was higher than that of the control group ( 85. 33%, P < 0 . 05). The length of hospital stay of observation group [( 6 . 29± 3 . 19 ) d] was significantly less than that of the control group [( 8.24± 3 . 86 )d](P<0.05). Conclusion Integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursingcan improve the efficacy and satisfaction of elder patients and has a high clinical value.
