Application of Auricular Point Sticking Combined with Acupoint Sticking after Upper Gastrointestinal Tumor Surgery

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of auricular point sticking combined with acupoint sticking in patients with upper gastrointestinal tumor after operation. Methods From January 2015 to December 2016, 51 patients with upper gastrointestinal tumor who received routine intervention were selected as control group, and from January 2017 to June 2018 , 51 patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer who received auricular point sticking and acupoint sticking were selected as observation group. The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions, pain improvement rate and rehabilitation indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2% which was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The effective rate of pain improvement in the observation group was 88% which was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The postoperative exhaust time was (33.17±11.24) h,the defecation time was (46.21±5.38) h, and the bowel sound recovery time was (23.41±11.18) h, which was better than the control group [(42.05±10.18) h, (61.64±5.87) h and (41.16±10.52) h] (P<0.05). Conclusion Postoperative auricular acupoint pressing combined with acupoint sticking for patients with upper gastrointestinal tumor can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, increase the rate of pain improvement, and improve postoperative rehabilitation indicators, which is worthy of promotion.
