Abstract:
Objective To observe the curative effect of modi?ed pulsatilla decoction in treatment of colon syndrome ulcerative colitis. Methods The patients with colon syndrome ulcerative colitis ( 120 cases) were randomly divided into treatment group and control group (n=60), and two groups of patients were orally given Mesalazine Slow Release Tablets (2 tablets each time, 3 times daily). The patients in treatment group were given modi?ed pulsatilla decoction herbal medicinal broth enema, and the patients in control group were given the new recovery liquid (100 mL) for retention enema. Both groups were treated for 10 d as a course, and the interval was 2 d to enter the next course of treatment, with a total of 2 courses. Results The total ef?cacies of treatment and control groups were 90.00% and 81.67%, and the curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control group (P<0.05). The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving defecation frequency and hematochezia degree (P<0.05), but there was no signi?cant difference in intestinal mucosal repair between the two groups (P>0.05). The treatment group could effectively reduce the recurrence rate of treatment compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The modi?ed pulsatilla decoction has a better therapeutic effect on ulcerative colitis of damp-heat type of large intestine, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
